Legacy Construction And Development was formed by merging two well-established companies, ProQuality Contracting and Wodehouse Construction. Proquality Contracting has a strong history of building upscale residential homes and executing large commercial renovations. Wodehouse Construction is known for its expertise in public infrastructure projects and custom home construction. Together, they have worked on diverse projects including Wingstop and Subway renovations, coffee shop and theater developments, and specialized fuel farm installations. This merger combines their strengths, offering comprehensive construction services with a commitment to quality and excellence.

Craig
Meet Craig Wodehouse, one of our owners. Craig’s journey began in the New Orleans / Metairie area where he grew up and attended high school at Brother Martin. Craig later went on to be a prominent figure in the business and management industry since 2011 when he first attended Louisiana State University Business College and College of Engineering in 2014. With a diverse skill set, he is a Louisiana licensed home inspector (LHI # 11154), 3rd party building inspector (U02819), lead-based paint supervisor, and mold specialist. In his entrepreneurial pursuits, Craig founded Wodehouse Construction LLC, which thrived under his leadership. His path took a significant turn when he met Paul Nilsen, leading to the merger of their companies and the formation of Legacy Construction and Development LLC. In addition to Legacy Construction, Craig owns two other companies and a property management company dedicated to managing his own assets. Craig’s expertise and dedication continue to drive the success of his ventures, making him a trusted name in the industry, allowing him to work closely with clients and achieve their goals, exceeding their expectations.

Meet Paul Nilsen, a seasoned construction professional with a passion for building dreams from the ground up. At 36 years old, Paul has dedicated two decades of his life to the construction industry, starting his journey at the age of 16. With a decade of entrepreneurship under his belt, he is the proud owner of a thriving construction company that excels in residential new constructions, remodels, commercial new construction and commercial remodels. Paul’s expertise spans across both residential and commercial projects, showcasing his versatility and proficiency in the field. His commitment to delivering top-notch craftsmanship and exceeding client expectations has established him as a trusted name in the industry. Outside of work, Paul cherishes his role as a loving father to three wonderful boys, and a soon to be husband to the love of his beautiful fiancée. Finding joy in watching them grow and thrive. With his dedication to success in both his professional and personal endeavors, Paul Nilsen is a true testament to hard work, passion, and unwavering commitment.
