Legacy Construction and Development LLC was formed through the merger of two well-established companies, combining their strengths, expertise, and resources to become a leading force in the construction industry.
The two companies, formerly known as ProQuality Contracting LLC and Wodehouse Construction LLC, each brought unique strengths to the table. ProQuality Contracting LLC has a proven track record of building and remodeling upscale residential homes and managing commercial renovations of various scales. Wodehouse Construction LLC is recognized for its expertise in public and government infrastructure projects, as well as custom home construction.
Together, Legacy Construction and Development LLC offers a comprehensive portfolio of services, ranging from bathroom remodels and custom home builds to commercial tenant improvements and build-outs. Past projects include tenant space improvements for well-known brands such as Wingstop, Dunkin’ Donuts, Subway, as well as coffee shops, churches, spas, retail spaces, and other restaurant and commercial needs.
Specializing in both commercial and residential construction, Legacy Construction and Development LLC provides design/build services for new construction and remodels, as well as tenant space design/build services. Meet Craig Wodehouse, one of our owners. Craig’s journey began in the New Orleans / Metairie area where he grew up and Attended Brother Martin High School ’11. Craig later went on to be a prominent figure in the business and management industry since 2011 when he first attended Louisiana State University Business College and College of Engineering in 2014. With a diverse skill set, he is a Louisiana Licensed Home Inspector (LHI # 11154), 3rd party building inspector (U02819), Lead-based paint abatement, and mold specialist. In his entrepreneurial pursuits, Craig founded Wodehouse Construction LLC, which thrived under his leadership. His path took a Significant turn when he met his partner, Paul Nilsen, leading, leading to the merger of their companies and the formation of Legacy Construction and Development LLC. Craig’s expertise and dedication continue to drive the success of his ventures, making him a trusted name in the industry, allowing him to work closely with clients and achieve their goals, exceeding their expectations.

Meet Paul Nilsen, a seasoned construction professional with a passion for building dreams from the ground up. Paul has dedicated more than two decades of his life to the construction industry, starting his journey at the age of 16. with more than a decade of entrepreneurship under his belt, he is the proud owner of a thriving construction company that excels in residential new constructions, remodels, commercial new construction and commercial remodels. Paul’s expertise spans across both residential and commercial projects, showcasing his versatility and proficiency in the field. His commitment to delivering top-notch craftsmanship and exceeding client expectations has established him as a trusted name in the industry. Outside of work, Paul cherishes his role as a loving husband and father to three wonderful boys. Finding joy in watching them grow and thrive. With his dedication to success in both his professional and personal endeavors, Paul Nilsen is a true testament to hard work, passion, and unwavering commitment.
